Thanks to Joanne at Frisco Rowing Club for the picture. Looks great! I'm so happy you've got the boat back and on the water.
I've got a new repair going in the workshop - a Wintech Explorer. It's a pretty interesting job, with multiple materials and construction methods. There are two structural damages to repair and then a full respray. I need to get one of those big drums of elbow grease... The boats sure look good after all that, though! Got this Hudson Single finished up this week, with a little help from my 5 y/o, Lucy. The bow had been crunched in a storage yard. Finished repair turned out very nice. Got to work on some boat repairs this morning. A Hudson single with a crunched bow, and a Kevlar kayak that got dinged in a garage. As is usual with boat repairs, lots and lots of sanding, followed by a little bit of epoxy application. |
